Tom Carr, Architect / Owner
Tom Carr is an architect and owner of S4S Architecture + Construction, a multi-disciplinary architecture and construction firm specializing in luxury property design and construction in Fort Worth, Texas. With more than 25 years of experience, Tom leads S4S with a hands-on, collaborative approach, guiding residential remodeling and new home construction projects from concept through completion.
Tom’s career spans a wide range of architectural work, including residential, commercial, adaptive reuse, and large-scale destination projects both in the United States and internationally. That broad experience shapes the way S4S approaches each project—balancing strong design vision with careful attention to detail and constructability.
Since founding S4S Architecture + Construction in 2016, Tom has focused on building an integrated design-build practice that simplifies the process for clients while maintaining a high level of quality and accountability. By uniting architecture and construction under one roof, S4S delivers a more seamless and transparent experience—especially important for custom homes and high-end residential renovations.
Tom and his family have called Fort Worth home since 2009. He is a licensed architect in Texas and several other states and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the Texas Society of Architects, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
